Our team

Jen O’Connor- Senior Career Advisor, Pre-Law & Graduate School Advising

As the manager of the Pre-Law and Graduate School Advising program, Jen oversees advising for students and alumni pursuing law or graduate school, develops programming and resources, maintains the program’s website, and leads on- and off-campus outreach efforts. She also organizes the annual Law School Fair, bringing valuable connections and opportunities to aspiring law students.

Jen is passionate about helping students and alumni navigate their undergraduate experiences with confidence. She appreciates having the opportunity to build working relations with students and alumni to help support them toward success in higher education and beyond.  She holds a special commitment in her heart for supporting first-generation students. Through collaboration across campus, she works to create meaningful learning experiences that open doors and transform lives.

She grew up in Hatboro, PA, a little town in the northeast suburbs of  Philadelphia.

Harmon Gill- Graduate Assistant, Pre-Law Advising

Harmon is a 2L at USC Gould who discovered his passion for trial and appellate advocacy as an avid college mock trial and moot court competitor.  Before law school, Harmon worked alongside public defenders and in-house counsel, served as a federal judicial extern, and coached mock trial and moot court. He is a proud double Trojan who graduated with a BA in Communication and minor in Religion. He is excited to counsel students at all stages of their law school admissions journeys.

Jennifer Mou- Graduate Assistant, Pre-Law Advising

Jennifer is a current 3L student at USC Gould with an interest in litigation. She holds a BS in Psychology and Economics from Wellesley College and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from University College London. Before law school, Jennifer worked in marketing and non-profit communications. Jennifer enjoys guiding students through the law school admissions process by sharing insights and improving access to resources.

Rachel Wei- Graduate Assistant, Pre-Law Advising

Rachel is a current 3L at USC Gould. Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Rachel attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN for her undergraduate studies, where she triple majored in Biology, English, and Human & Organizational Development. With her interdisciplinary background and experience living and working on the East and West Coasts, as well as the South, Rachel looks forward to helping students discover whether law school is the right fit for them, and if so, which school and city best fits their personal and career goals.

Robyn S. Kazemaini- Graduate Assistant, Pre-Law Advising

Robyn is a current 3L at USC Gould with an interest in employment and business law. She attended UC Berkeley where she received her B.A. in Political Science. In addition to her role on the Career Pathways team, she is an editor of the Southern California Law Review. Robyn enjoys helping students develop and execute their own unique admissions strategy for law school.

Zarifah Shahid- Graduate Assistant, Pre-Law Advising

Zarifah is a 2L at USC Gould. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for undergrad, where she studied Global Studies with a concentration in Governance and Conflict Resolution, as well as Mathematics. During her time in undergrad, Zarifah worked in nonprofit doing civic engagement and social justice organizing. Zarifah is passionate about labor law and is planning to pursue a public interest legal career. At Gould, Zarifah is very organizationally involved with public interest work, as well as the brand-new employment and labor law student association, which she started with her friends. In her free time, Zarifah enjoys reading, music, urban wandering, and trying out coffee places with friends.
