* Tips For a Successful Virtual Internship*

  • Maintain a regular schedule, and create a distraction-free workspace.
  • Keep your supervisor informed about your work. Create a regular procedure for checking in and/or weekly meetings with your supervisor.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ask how else you can help with other tasks or assignments and think about ways you can expand and grow professionally.
  • Create time to network with your colleagues. Schedule virtual coffee chats or lunch meetings if possible to learn about their career paths, work projects, and perspectives into the organization.
