German Studies minor Roberto Nazario won USC’s highly endowed Renaissance Prize. The prize recognizes graduating undergraduate students who excel in two or more unrelated disciplines. Roberto has completed his bachelor degree with a major in Physics and a minor in German Studies.
German Studies minor Mary Coates received a Fulbright ETA grant and will be teaching English for a year in Germany. She will be at a school in Saxony.

German Studies minor Robin Liu had the choice to accept a CBYX-Scholarship or a Fulbright Research Scholarship and chose the latter. Congratulations, Robin!!!! She will do research on TTIP in Berlin.
2015/2016
Ko Ricker and Chloe Roddy were accepted to the USTA program as TAs in Austria!!! After their graduation, they will teach English in Linz (Ko) and Andorf (Chloe) for one year. TA’s are selected by the Austrian American Educational Commission, which also manages the Fulbright Program in Austria.

German Studies Minor Karissa Masciel won the 2014 USC Renaissance Prize, which is awarded to undergraduate students, who are pursuing studies in at least two disparate academic fields. Karissa was one distinguished student of ten who were recognized for their academic excellence and received the Renaissance Scholar Prize to assisst with their graduate studies.
