Stephanie Bower

Biography
Stephanie Bower has been teaching composition courses at USC for nineteen years, including an upper-division community engagement course that partners students with local community groups to make videos that work towards social justice. She also teaches a general education seminar entitled “Climate Fiction: Speculative Fiction for a Broken World.” She has published articles in The Chronicle of Higher Education, the Los Angeles Review of Books, Legacy, and Modern Fiction Studies, and she has a Ph.D in turn-of-the-century American Literature.
