Sandy Chien
Biography
Sandy Chien joined the USC Dornsife Center for Economic and Social Research (CESR) in 2013. As Director of Data Management, she provides leadership and manages data collection activities for Longitudinal Aging Study in India (LASI) and Diagnostic Assessment of Dementia (LASI-DAD) projects. She streamlines program operations, manages day-to-day activities, and leads administrative functions. She manages the program’s budgets and resource allocations. She supervises the program staff and oversees the hiring and training processes. She serves as a liaison between the program team, researchers, and international collaborators. Before joining USC, she was a project leader and supported research projects on health, aging, military data at RAND Corporation for 17 years.
