Marcos Briano
Biography
Dr. Marcos Briano “DrB” (he/him/el) pronouns, Associate Professor (Teaching) of USC’s Physical Education & Mind Body Health (PEMBH) department & Rossier’s MFT program, and is dedicated to students’ wellbeing through physical fitness, mental wellness, and the connection of mind body health.
Dr. B earned his Ph.D., in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Multicultural Community Clinical Psychology at California School of Professional Psychology (Alliant University), his Masters in Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) and his BA & BS in Psychology/Exercise Science from USC. His research interests include integration of sports & psychology, QPR suicide intervention training, pedagogy instructional design, social justice, and advocacy for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities.
You may catch DrB on campus teaching golf, group fitness classes, in the classroom teaching undergraduate/graduate courses, mentoring MFT graduate students, or on local public transportation to campus.
