Adjunct Associate Professor (Research), USC Environmental Studies Program
Dr. Dutton works within the USC Wrigley Institute for Environment and Sustainability to advance the institute’s environment and sustainability mission across all aspects of education, research and engagement. Her research background is in marine eco-physiology, looking at the distribution and function of intertidal species along the California coast, and how ranges map onto environment with implications for understanding climate impacts. Before coming to USC, she was a Fellow with the National Academy of Sciences’ Ocean Studies Board and with the National Sea Grant Program/NOAA Fisheries Service.
