Biography

Anastasiia’s research lies at the intersection of literature and philosophy. She is broadly interested in ancient Greek and Roman writing about cosmic change and the role of human beings in it. Her dissertation examined how physics and ethics interact in Seneca’s prose.

Anastasiia’s undergraduate thesis focused on Vladimir Nabokov’s repeated practice of translating his autobiography between English and Russian. She keeps researching such concepts as identity, self-narration and memory in Greek and Roman literature.
