Bio
Ashika Gogna is a dancer, model, dog mama, and yogini, who has been teaching Yoga internationally for the past fifteen years. Having an East Indian father and a highly spiritual Australian mother, she was exposed to Yoga, meditation, spirituality, and the Hindu traditions at an early age and was innately drawn to Yoga as a way to be present both on and off the mat. Ashika is a certified teacher in SmartFlow, Yin Yoga, Pre/Post-natal Yoga, Prison Yoga Project, Rasa Yoga, and Restorative Yoga and her most influential teachers include Annie Carpenter, Sianna Sherman, and Steve Ross. Self-described as a “Yoga nerd,” Ashika is currently pursuing her degree to attain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is known for bringing her infectious energy into her classes, in addition to a strong focus on alignment. Her classes are a strong Vinyasa flow that blend a unique style of Yoga with upbeat music, strength developing poses, calming your mind, getting sweaty, and having FUN. 🙂
