Micah Owens is a fourth-year undergraduate poet and playwright studying English (Creative Writing) at the University of Southern California. His one-act play, Death Goes on a Date, recently made its debut in Brand New Theatre’s Fall 2024 One Act Festival. He views writing as excavations of the self. In his free time, you can find him searching for a new dystopian novel, looking at pictures of cute cats, or grappling with an existential crisis… but most likely looking at cute cats.
