“The piece was created improvisationally in the span of about a week early in the semester. It was inspired by a test scene involving a dark room with an interactive light switch script, which I got carried away adding onto. My goal was to make a camera, a controller, and a variety of environments that would disorient players at first but gradually become easier to navigate. The control scheme was inspired by first-person dungeon crawlers and Katamari Damacy.”
