Integral Shadow

As a sophomore at USC, Brendan collaborated with Sophie Mathieu, a sophomore in Thornton School of Music, on a work titled “Integral Shadow.”

Triptych

Brendan collaborated with choreographers, and fellows 2020 peers, Rachel Harris and Justin Pham, on “Triptych,” made to an original score by Caleb Hannan of the Thornton School of Music.

Throughout his time at USC, LACHSA, and various summer intensives (San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, The Dutch Don’t Dance Division in the Netherlands, Perry Mansfield School of Performing Arts (Colorado), Body Traffic Summer intensive, the Hubbard Street Summer Dance Intensive in Los Angeles, Movement invention project in New York, and the Netherlands Dans Theater Summer Intensive) Brendan Evans has always been hungry to choreograph and be involved in new creations. Performing works by Yin Yue, Jiri Kylian, Crystal Pite, Hofesh Shector, Maurice Causey, Ohad Naharin, Stijn Celis, William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Paul Taylor, Jodie Gates, George Balanchine, Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, Barak Marshall, Chris Scott and Jessica Keller, and Sonya Tayeh. He enjoys being part of processes with various artists, as well as collaborating. Brendan continues to pursue multimedia choreographic collaborations with hopes to infuse many areas of art with movement. He hopes to perform in a dance company internationally upon graduation from USC. In the future, Brendan wants to choreograph theatrical and installation works, continue his pursuit of collaboration and the spread of dance.
