Led by Jim Haw of chemistry and environmental studies, undergraduates spend two weeks exploring the Southern California desert as they learn about water and energy issues as part of a Problems Without Passports course.

During a Maymester course, 26 mostly environmental studies students in USC Dornsife who completed a Spring class teaching them how to dive are now headed to Guam and Palau.
