• November 1st, 2014 – MESA College Day. We performed chemistry demonstrations for high school juniors and seniors from across Southern and Central California.
• June, 2014 – Smaranda serves as a mentor for the Chemistry Women Mentorship Network (Chem WMN). Chem WMN is a national network of women established to provide support, encouragement, and mentorship for young women considering careers in academia. CWMN
