Calendar

The Marinescu group holds group meetings every Friday at 1 pm (Email Prof. Marinescu for link/calendar access).

The meetings are carried out in the following formats:

Informal meetings: Each students presents an update on their research during the week to the group. This may or may not include a few brief slides.
Formal talk: The speaker presents a formal talk on their research during the last few months, supplemented by a set of slides.
Literature talk: The speaker selects a recent research paper and shares it with the group in advance. During the meeting, the speaker moderates the discussion on the critical analysis of the paper where everyone shares their insights.
One on one meetings: Prof. Marinescu meets with each student weekly to discuss research update and brainstorm ideas.
