MG.5(1) – Domains
Small magnetic needles are placed over nails so that they are free to rotate. They are arranged between clear plexiglas’s plates, reproducing domains in a ferromagnetic crystal. When a bar magnet is brought near the plates, the needles move, rearranging themselves but keeping the domains.

MG.5(2) – Hexagonal Magnet Model
This model is used to demonstrate the behavior of molecular magnets in ferromagnetic materials; freely rotating magnetic needles that are mounted between two acrylic glass discs.
