Tien Nguyen has been writing about food and culture for nearly a decade. She is the co-author of two books, including the New York Times bestseller L.A. Son: My Life, My City with chef Roy Choi, and was the former Senior Food Writer at the LA Weekly. Since then, her work has appeared in a variety of publications, including the Los Angeles Times, Lucky Peach and Interview. She was an inaugural fellow in the Jack Jones Literary Arts Culture, Too conference for cultural critics of color and holds a degree in law from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
