Michelle Huneven is the author of three novels: Round Rock, Jamesland, and Blame. Her work has appeared in Harpers, Redbook, and Slake. She has won a GE Younger Writers Award and a Whiting Writers’ Award; Blame was nominated for a National Book Critics Circle Award. For many years, Huneven wrote about restaurants and food, with weekly columns in the Los Angeles Times and the LA Weekly. Her journalism has also appeared in the New York Times, Gourmet, Food and Wine, and many other periodicals. She is a lecturer in creative writing at UCLA.
