Lorraine Wild is a graphic designer who has taught at the California Institute of the Arts since1985. For the last decade, Wild, the designer of more than 100 books, has focused her practice (Green Dragon Office) on collaborations with artists, architects, writers, and curators. Recent projects include exhibition catalogues for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Getty Museum, the Hammer Museum, and the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal. Her writings and her design work have been published in numerous anthologies. In 2006, Wild was awarded the Gold Medal of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the highest award of recognition for graphic design in the United States.
