April Wolfe is a graduate of Western Michigan University’s playwriting department and holds an MFA in fiction from Boise State University. She’s told stories for NPR’s Snap Judgment, performed with a women’s rock-and-wrestle troupe, and now offers her voice to the KLAM 109.5 podcast. A 2014 A Public Space Emerging Writer Fellow, her fiction can be found in McSweeney’s, Quarterly West, The Pinch, Barrelhouse, and others. Her nonfiction and journalism appears in Marie Claire, The Atlantic’s CityLab, Vice, Good, Bust, Flaunt, Bullett, Dame, and others. As founder of One Axe Plays, a Women’s Center for Creative Work initiative to feature the works of women writers and directors on screen and stage, she’s produced the stories of many talented makers.
