2026 Alumni Accolades

An update from an alum! Summer Krasuski (Zofrea) graduated USC in 2019 with a B.A. in French with Honors and B.S. in Business Admin. She went on to receive her J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2022, and is currently an Associate at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. She is proud of her work fighting for American women’s access to a new gynecological oncology drug and defending journalists and media companies against attacks on free speech. She’s also helped immigrants from Francophone Africa to gain asylum in the US.

Bravo to Saba Daneshmand for her recent accolades! Saba graduated in May 2026 with a double major in French and Neuroscience, and received the prestigious Global Scholar Prize for her Honors Thesis in French which focused on Frantz Fanon and colonial medicine’s role in perpetuating alienation. Saba was waitlisted for a Fulbright for a graduate program in neuroscience at the Sorbonne combined with research at the Paris Brain Institute at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital. She will attend medical school starting in Fall 2027.

Congratulations to Kristina Shea for a 2026–2027 Fulbright English Teaching Assistant to Belgium, where she is working in the department for Bachelor’s degrees in Secondary Education at Howest University of Applied Sciences. She graduated with her BA from USC in 2025 with majors in French and Comparative Literature and a minor in Applied Analytics. In 2026, she earned her MA in the selective Comparative Literature program at Dartmouth College with the completion of her MA Essay, titled “Revolution in Epic Poetry.”
