Matthew D. Heller

Matt Heller was raised in Westchester County, New York and attended the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at USC majoring in Political Science, graduating in 1989.  As an undergrad, Matt was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity, USC Hillel and he served as a rush advisor with the Inter Fraternity Council.  Matt also participated in Songfest with his team placing first in 1987.  He also wrote for the Daily Trojan and competed in IFC Iron Man. 

After graduation Matt began a career in financial services, working for Wells Fargo Securities, Banc of America Investment Services and Citigroup.  In 2003 Matt cofounded Willner Heller LLC a registered investment advisory firm based in Encino California.  Willner Heller manages money for families, businesses, non-profits and foundations.  Matt has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Los Angeles Magazine, the San Fernando Valley Business Journal and Trojan Family Magazine.  Matt has received the Five Star Wealth Manager award eight times and he was named a Trusted Advisor by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal in 2013.   

Matt’s volunteer experience includes chairing the Parks, Recreation and Education Commission for the City of Calabasas and serving as President of the Community Center Alliance working with the cities of Calabasas and Agoura Hills.  Matt is a former executive board member of the Anti-Defamation League and he chaired the Government Affairs Committee of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce.  Matt has served as an alumni mentor in both the Marshall School of Business and Dornsife College as well as serving on the Class of 1989 reunion committee three times. 

Matt and his wife Lisa have two adult children, Erin and Jason and they reside in Westlake Village CA.
