#1 – REGISTER FOR YOUR CEREMONY
Refer to your USC email account and locate your registration invitation. The subject line reads: USC Dornsife Commencement | Satellite Ceremony Registration. If you do not locate the email, please check your spam and junk folders. Weekly reminders are deployed every Monday!
#2 – REGALIA
Make sure you have regalia! For graduates wishing to rent a cap with tassel, gown, and hood in person, the USC Bookstore will hold an in-person distribution beginning May 8, 2023, on the USC Bookstore Patio.
Days and hours:
• May 8th thru May 11th 8:30 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.
• Commencement Day, May 12th 6:30 A.M. – 9:00 A.M.
Please go to the bottom of the bookstore stairs closest to TCC. You will see tables and order forms. A Cap & Gown Specialist will be present to provide assistance. After completion of the order form, you will proceed up the stairs to the distribution tent where you will receive your rental items and go into the bookstore to pay. #3 – HONOR CORDS
USC Dornsife recognizes those students who have excelled academically by providing honor cords to be worn on Commencement Day. To qualify, a student must be eligible to graduate and have a minimum of a 3.5 University GPA at the beginning of Spring semester 2022. All students who meet the qualifications will receive an email in mid-April with instructions for picking up honor cords.
#4 – SEATING
Seating is on a first come, first serve, basis with a suggested maximum of (4) guests per registered graduate. No tickets are required.
#5 – SATELLITE CEREMONY REHEARSAL
A rehearsal will be held the week of commencement on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. on the Allyson Felix Field. Rehearsal is not mandatory, but encouraged so graduates can learn more about their “day-of” commencement experience.
