The Colburn School provides performing arts education to young musicians and dancers from early childhood through graduate school. Located in DTLA, Colburn engages in many community-centered initiatives to increase access to the arts for all members of the Los Angeles community.

24th-Street Theatre is an arts organization located in South Los Angeles, near the USC campus, that aims to create award-winning theatre for young audiences. They offer free after school arts programs to students of the community and contribute to outreach efforts with LA’s public school system. 

El Sistema USA supports El Sistema-inspired organizations to provide music education to underserved youth, developing the essential life skills and habits of mind they need to lead successful lives.

Education Through Music-Los Angeles (ETM-LA) partners with inner-city schools to provide music as a core subject for all children, and utilizes music education as a catalyst to improve academic achievement, motivation for school and self-confidence.

The Harmony Project provides comprehensive, tuition-free music education and social support to youth across Los Angeles, Southern California, and beyond.

YOLA at HOLA (Heart of Los Angeles) serves hundreds of students with intensive after-school orchestral instruction five days a week. Classes include music creativity, singing and solfège, ensemble rehearsals, and an hour of academic tutoring daily. This holistic approach fosters a sense of community and provides the students with the opportunity to take advantage of HOLA’s exceptional programs and resources.

YOLA at HOLA is a partnership between the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA).

Create CA is a coalition whose mission is to ensure all students are able to reach their full potential by advancing an education model that promotes creativity and the arts for the 21st century workforce.

HOLA provides underserved youth with free, exceptional programs in academics, arts and athletics within a nurturing environment, empowering them to develop their potential, pursue their education and strengthen their communities.
