Welcome to the Autism and Family Support Lab!
We are a research lab and are housed within the USC Dornsife Department of Psychology. We conduct rigorous research that aims to:
a) Describe inequities in access to high quality autism related services (Why do some autistic people and their families receive great supports and services while others do not?)
b) Develop low cost and easily accessible supports to help all families access high quality supports and services in a timely manner. (How can we make it easier for families to access great autism supports and services?)
c) Contribute to neurodiversity affirming research and intervention development. (How can we ensure that our projects and services align with the desires and needs of autistic people)
We strive to engage in community engaged research and include neurodivergent adults, healthcare professionals, therapists, researchers, and families of autistic people in our research development process.
