Celebrate Armenian History Month at USC with a series of exciting events hosted by USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies and USC Armenian Student Association (ASA). Kicking off with an opening ceremony on April 1st, join us for discussions, cultural performances, groundbreaking research, and more throughout the month. Join us in kicking off Armenian History Month at USC, featuring remarks by USC President Carol Folt and former LA City Council President Paul Krekorian, an Armenian dance performance, delicious food, and more!

On the Cutting Edge of Science and Tech: CA and Armenia Together

A conference by USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies and Armenian Society of Fellows, featuring world-renowned scientists from institutions such as Stanford, CalTech, and Meta, who will share their work in astrophysics, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence. The program will also highlight innovation between California and Armenia and the university’s role in tackling global challenges. RSVP

Armenian Language Hour: Game Night

Join USC ASA for Armenian Language Hour at the Institute of Armenian Studies — Game Night edition. Come play mafia, blot, and durak to celebrate our shared heritage in a fun way, and in the Armenian language! Armenian speakers of all proficiency levels are welcome and encouraged to attend.

An ASA Success Story: A Conversation with Service Titan

Hosted by USC ASA, this special Trojian Talk event will feature a conversation with the co-founder of Service Titan, an Armenian-founded tech unicorn, spotlighting President Vahe Kuzoyan. The company’s two founders met through the USC and Stanford Armenian Student Associations (with Vahe being the former president of USC ASA), kickstarting their entrepreneurship journey. RSVP

Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day Candlelight Vigil

Hosted by USC ASA in collaboration UCLA ASA, this candlelight vigil will honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and serve as a time for reflection, remembrance, and unity between the USC and UCLA communities. This year’s program will include a special poetry recital by artist and poet Karén Karslyan.

Collective Voices Launch

Hosted by USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies, this event will celebrate the launch of Collective Voices, an Institute-published zine featuring original writing and art about Artsakh. The program will include a conversation with the project team and readings from the publication.
