Where can I find the Dornsife Transfer Ambassador Program Application?
The application will be linked here every August. It is also available on the DTAP main webpage, as well as our DTAP Linktree.
What is the application process and timeline?
- The Dornsife Transfer Ambassador Program has a two part application process. The written application is open to all and will be reviewed by DTAP staff and participants. Select applicants will then be invited to participate in a 20 minute virtual interview.
- The DTAP application is open the last week of August through the first week of September. Applicants invited to participate in the interview process will be notified via email.
Who is eligible to apply to the Dornsife Transfer Ambassador Program?
You must be a USC undergraduate transfer student, have a declared Dornsife major (or scheduled to declare a Dornsife major this fall), and have an anticipated graduation date of Fall 2025 or later.
I graduate in Spring 2025. Am I eligible to apply?
Unfortunately, due to our training process, we are only able to accept ambassadors who will be undergraduate Dornsife students for 3 semesters or more.
What are the minimum participation requirements for Dornsife Transfer Ambassadors?
DTAP members are required to attend 2 monthly meetings/socials (Wednesdays, 4:30pm-5:30pm), participate in ambassador trainings (virtual) and retreat (dates TBD), work in small teams to coordinate events for current and prospective transfer students, and communicate with prospective transfer students to answer questions and share about your own transfer experience.
