The Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences has a long tradition of instructional greatness at USC. From the beginning of the university, the college has been an intellectual foundation that produces world-class research with remarkable educational experiences for students. Today, the college offers an incredibly diverse set of courses with some of the most gifted instructors in the world.

Teaching at Dornsife was launched in early 2020 in response to the challenges presented by COVID and has shifted to support instruction and curriculum of all forms in the college. Teaching at Dornsife has four main goals:

  • Identify and share the teaching practices that make Dornsife great
  • Discover new instructional and curricular practices that could be useful in the college
  • Develop and disseminate assessment practices that have meaningful impacts
  • Support the evaluation of Dornsife curriculum with an aim to improve teaching practices and programs of study in the college
