SSI’s Ibrahim Sabek wins Google DANI Award

Congratulations to Dr. Ibrahim Sabek, assistant professor in the Thomas Lord Department of Computer Science and in the Spatial Sciences Institute at University of Southern California, for winning the Google Data Analytics and Insights (DANI) Award.

As part of its growing efforts to support excellent research in academia, Google has established a specific funding award to promote advancements in large-scale data analytics and insights. Dr. Sabek was selected as one of a few professors to receive this award for the 2024-2025 academic year to continue his work on building robust learned data-intensive systems.
