Single Testing Rooms

Room Description
801 B, C, D, F, G, K, L, & N Single testing room (1-2 people). Equip with a desk, seats, and a computer. Best for paper and pencil or computerized data collection.
813 A, B, C, & E Single testing room (1-2 people). Equip with a desk, seats, and a computer. Best for paper and pencil or computerized data collection.

 

Group Testing Rooms

Room Description
816 Group testing room (12 people). Conference room. Equip with tables, chairs, and recording equipment. Best for paper-and-pencil or computerized data collection, and group interviews.
801E Group testing room (5 people). Equip with tables and chairs. Best for paper-and-pencil or computerized data collection.

 

Experimenter Control Room

Room Description
801J Experimenter Control Room (1-2 people). Equip with a computer. Great for experimenters running studies.

 

Computer Lab

Room Description
806 Computer Lab (7 people + RA). Equip with individual cubicles with 6 computers. Great for computerized data collection.

 

Wet Labs + A/V Control Room

Room Description
818 Wet Labs (1 Person). Equip with psychophysiology equipment, monitors, and data/video/audio projection. Best for taking physiological measures.
819 Wet Labs (1 Person). Equip with psychophysiology equipment, monitors, and data/video/audio projection. Best for taking physiological measures.
813 D A/V Control Room (2-3 people). Equip with psychophysiology equipment, monitors, and data/video/audio projection. Best for taking physiological measures. Computers for receiving wet lab data.

How to Make Reservations

To reserve space in the Social Behavior Lab, click on the “Online Scheduling” tab to view current room vacancies. For guests to the Social Behavior Lab who are interested in a lab tour or making a reservation, or if you just have questions or comments, contact the Lab Coordinator. All guest researchers are welcome to reserve lab space for one week at a time for up to 30hrs/wk.

Equipment in the Lab

Available equipment includes AXIS Network cameras, with pan/tilt, hi-resolution, microphone capabilities; clandestine cameras; millisecond keyboards for reaction time measurement; physiology equipment measuring up to 8 channels of Electroencephalogram EEG), facial Electromyogram (EMG), Electrocardiogram (ECG), galvanic skin response (GSR); Dell Optiplex 960, Duo core computers with advanced video cards running Windows 7, and internet capabilities on 22″ flat screen monitors.
