Biography

 

Yance Wyatt is an Associate Professor of Writing at the University of Southern California, where he served as Director of the Writing Center from 2009-2014. He teaches a wide range of courses including “Writing 150: Writing and Critical Thinking,” “Writing 340: Advanced Writing,” and “CORE 195: Creative Writing Workshop.” Prior to joining the faculty, he earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Arizona State University and a Master of Professional Writing (with an emphasis in fiction) from USC. A two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, his fiction and poetry have been published in Zyzzyva, The Pinch, Los Angeles Review, Northwest Review, and dozens of other literary magazines.
