William Wyatt

Biography
Yance Wyatt is Associate Professor of Writing at the University of Southern California, where he served as Director of the Writing Center for five years. He teaches a range of courses including “Writing 150: Writing and Critical Thinking,” “Writing 340: Advanced Writing,” and “CORE 195: Creative Writing Workshop.” Prior to joining the faculty of the Writing Program, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Arizona State University and a Master of Professional Writing degree (an M.F.A. equivalent) from USC with an emphasis in fiction. His short stories have been published in more than a dozen literary journals and nominated twice for The Pushcart Prize.
