Orla Hayden
Biography
Orla Hayden is the Data Manager for IGEMS, managing data from over 15 global twin studies. She harmonizes variables to facilitate longitudinal analysis and writes accompanying documentation.
Orla is the Project Compliance Officer for the Understand America Study (UAS) workspace that resides in the CMS Enclave. This workspace houses all UAS data, including restricted geo-location data. Orla manages researcher applications, creates project spaces, maintains the data, and reviews all download requests.
Orla also works with a team of programmers to create the UAS Comprehensive File every quarter. The UAS Comprehensive File merges data from several core surveys in the UAS that are repeated every two years.
Prior to working at USC, Orla spent over 20 years at the RAND Corporation as a Research Programmer, working in a variety of research areas.
