Biography

I defended my dissertation, entitled Statius’ Flavian Achilles and advised by A.J. Boyle, in June 2022. My research interests lie largely in the literature and culture of Julio-Claudian and Flavian Rome. This fall, I’m excited to be teaching a Latin course on Lucretius’ de Rerum Natura and a GE seminar on representations of urban vs. rural life in Roman literature.
