Biography

Lori Qingyuan Yue is Marshall Dean’s Associate Professor in Business Administration and Associate Professor of Management and Organization at USC-Marshall School of Business. She is also an associate professor of sociology (courtesy appointment) and an affiliated faculty of the Center of East Asian Studies at USC. Lori has published research papers on how businesses mobilize collective action and how they strategically interact with social movement challenges in markets. Her recent research investigates the economic and social issues in the digital transformation of the economy and in emerging markets. Lori is an associate editor of Management Science, a consulting editor of the American Journal of Sociology, and has served in the editorial boards of Administrative Science Quarterly and Organization Science. She chairs the Research Committee of the Organization and Management Theory (OMT) Division of the Academy of Management. Lori is also a three-time recipient of teaching awards.
