An Ode To Punk

“This comic is in response to Jaime Hernandez’s Maggie the Mechanic (specifically the 2006 collection of the Love and Rockets series/1st collection of Locas). The numbers at the bottom of each page are references to that specific collection, but the statements I make are true of the entire series, and hopefully understandable even to an audience that hasn’t read the referenced work (the comic acting as a supporting example to my point concerning punk and anger).”

Pauline Hales-Brown is a student majoring in Narrative Studies with a minor in Folklore and Popular Culture. She loves comics, but never thought she’d make any. This is the second comic she’s ever made, and she’s going to keep making more!
