“bubbles” and “pop!”
pop!
maybe it’s their fragility—that transient, ephemeral beauty—that’s always drawn me to bubbles. or maybe it’s their reflective quality, their ability to present themselves as whatever they’re surrounded by, constantly changing.
to me, pop! represents how fragile you can feel when trying to hold up a million different facades to appease and please those around you. despite the seeming beauty and allure of such appearances, i find that such an appeal carries an underlying sense of instability. a sense of uncertainty and even guilt—a sense that, at any second now, you’re just going to
pop!
