Congratulations, Dr. Higa!

Congratulations to Nikki Higa who successfully defended her PhD in Cancer Biology and Genomics. Her dissertation, “Multi-omics Liquid Biopsy Strategies for Improved Detection of Circulating Tumor-associated Analytes,” highlights the potential of utilizing a liquid biopsy for the characterization of cancer to inform personalized treatment strategies.

Nikki was in the first cohort of Innovation Interns at USC Stevens Center for Innovation and now becomes a full-time member as a Technology Licensing Manager in the Life Sciences.
