Early Detection

Many types of cancer are detected at an advanced stage, when treatment options are limited, and prognosis is poor. Being able to detect cancers early can substantially improve survival. The USC INTERCEPT programs leverage a liquid biopsy blood test (the HDSCA workflow) and advanced computational algorithms to detect cancer early. We are continuing to adapt the HDSCA workflow to meet the needs of early detection of cancer and have initiated early detection programs in several different cancer settings.
