2023 Night at the Lab

Each year, CSI-Cancer hosts Night at the Lab, an event that brings together patients, patient advocates, physicians, and the scientific community to exchange perspectives on cancer and take a look behind the curtains of a cancer research lab. This effort is led by the student researchers of the Cancer Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) program.

The event will take place at the USC Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience (MCB) on Thursday, March 9th at 6:00 pm. This year we will focus on the future of liquid biopsy and its viability in the early detection of breast cancer. We will hear several presentations on related subjects and end with a tour through the CSI-Cancer facility, illustrating the “path of a blood sample” from delivery to data analysis.
