August 2026 – NIH F31 Predoctoral Fellowship for Christina!
More good news. Christina was awarded a highly competitive NIH F31 Predoctoral Fellowship to build a tool to study TF cooperativity in immune cells! Congratulations on this big achievement!
July 2026 – NIH/NIGMS R35 Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award!
The lab was awarded a 5-year NIH/NIGMS R35 grant to build synthetic gene regulatory landscapes to investigate mechanisms of transcriptional control and dysregulation!

May 2026 – Another goodbye!
Laurah successfully finished her BS/MS dual degree program here at USC, concluding her time in the lab. We are excited to see you grow as a scientists in your new research associate position at City of Hope.
March 2026 – Successful MS thesis defense!
The lab celebrated Laura for passing her Master of Science thesis defense. She received the highest grade for her 6-month thesis project in our lab. We are wishing her best of luck for her future endeavors!
