In the kitchen, there are two of myself—
one cooking, stirring, sautéing,

Jessica Poli grew up in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, but also calls Pittsburgh her hometown. She is currently in the MFA program at Syracuse University, and is editor of the online magazine Birdfeast.
