Profiles

The English department at USC has a nationally respected faculty.  In recent years its members have won awards from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, the American Philosophical Society, and the American Council of Learned Societies.  On campus, members have been honored with the Phi Kappa Phi Prize for outstanding books, the University’s Award for Creative Scholarship, and the Raubenheimer Distinguished Faculty Award.  We take particular pride, however, in the number of times members have earned the University’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
