Trojan Family Weekend
Again in 2024, the Archaeology Research Center hosted an open house for Trojan Family Weekend. Visitors were able to get their hands on the past, from real artifacts that are thousands of years old to virtual experiences of inaccessible sacred and ancient places. Archaeology students showcased the diversity of archaeology research active at USC, including scanning electron microscopy and ion beam analysis, visual microscopy, cutting edge photography techniques, experimental archaeology, safe object handling & labeling techniques, translation of ancient languages, and more.
