Corinna Schroeder
Biography
Corinna Schroeder is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) in the USC Writing Program, where she teaches undergraduate courses in writing and critical reasoning. She started teaching in the Writing Program in 2012 as a doctoral student at USC and joined the Program’s faculty in 2019. She has most recently taught Writing 150 courses in the Issues in Sustainability thematic and the Identity & Diversity thematic.
Dr. Schroeder holds a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Southern California, an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Mississippi, and a BFA in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Evansville. She is the author of a book of poems, Inked, which won the X. J. Kennedy Poetry Prize and was published by Texas Review Press in 2015. Her research interests include composition pedagogy, digital literacy, modern and contemporary poetry, and the novel.
