Jack Peters
Biography
Jack Peters has been a fulltime chessplayer and chess teacher since 1976. He earned the title of International Master (one level below grandmaster) in 1979. He wrote the weekly chess column in the Los Angeles Times from 1982 to 2010. At USC, he teaches thinking techniques used by chess masters, with particular attention to the Russian stars who dominated chess in the 20th Century.
