Geographic Information Science & Technology (GIST) Online Degree Program

The U.S. Department of Labor recently named Geotechnology as one of the three most important fields of study for the coming decades.  To take advantage of this growing industry, you'll need to develop a strong technical background and the practical skills necessary to deliver hands on solutions to tomorrow's geotechnical challenges.

Offered through the University of Southern California's Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences, the online Geographic Information Science & Technology (GIST) program features robust curriculum and an expert faculty that works closely with students using the most advanced data, research and technology available today.

As one of the world’s most respected universities, USC offers highly innovative degree programs led by industry experienced faculty members.  Online degree programs at USC are subject to the same educational requirements, and offer the same coursework and opportunities for collaboration as our onsite degree programs; however, the online programs are available to students located across the country or around the world.

Expand your knowledge as you learn to develop GIS programs that have the power to change our world. From mapping the habitats of critically endangered species, to charting critical disease outbreaks, detailing crime prone areas,  supporting infrastructure development, or one of many other applications, GIST professionals can build a lasting future in our changing world.  No other graduate GIST program prepares graduates the way USC does.

For more information, please visit the GIST website.
