Study Hebrew at USC

Hebrew is one of the two official languages of Israel, with 8 million speakers around the world. It is the original language of the Jewish Bible/Christian Old Testament.

Whether your interest is in the ancient or modern Middle East, or in Jewish tradition, Hebrew is an essential language.

Hebrew courses at USC are taught by our colleagues at Hebrew Union College just north of University Park Campus. A sequence of four semesters of Hebrew courses is available. Find out more here.
