  • Summary Statement of Research Interests

    I have two interrelated projects focused on Catholicism. The first is based on two years of fieldwork in Bogotá, Colombia, and centers on Catholic charitable food giving, and the ways older adults transform these foods into things with new registers of value. My second project is in tandem with the University of Toronto and examines the Catholic borderlands of Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
