O.5(1) – Color Box

It is a simple demonstration of the three primary colors being mixed to form other colors. A large square box (40 cm x 40 cm x 40 cm ) has a white plastic front and three light sources inside with settings for color filters. Slots on the sides of the box allow the fitting of the colored filters. Diverse color filters are included. Each lamp can be turned on and off independently and their intensity can also be controlled independently.

O.5(2) – Subtractive Color Mixing

This device is designed to be used on an overhead projector, allows one to show how colors are obtained from the subtractive mixing of red-violet, blue-green, and yellow. Each glass filter is 5 cm in diameter. The colored disks are projected on the screen and the mirrors can be adjusted until they coincide partially or completely.

O.5(3) – Newton’s Color Disk

The colored sectors on the 10″ disk are proportioned to appear white when rapidly spun.

O.5(4) – Color Lights

Red, blue, and green spotlights shine on a white screen. The lights add to make white, but shadows appear in brilliant colors.
