Caleb Pomeroy is a Stanton Nuclear Security Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford’s Center for International Security and Cooperation. He researches the psychology of power in international relations, notably the effects of relative state power on human thought and behavior. His book project shows that the feeling of power inflates threat perception. He received his Ph.D. in international relations from Ohio State University in 2022.
